A huge thanks to all the pullers who showed up for this pull - without you, we have no show. From you first time pullers to the vets, I really appreciate you all coming out, especially on such short notice. I hope this represents a renewed enthusiasm for diesel motorsports in so cal, as it has been a bit fragmented the past couple years.
Secondly, a huge thanks to the crew who helped make this happen. Betty for all the help and use of her RV and everything else, Rob, Ken, Wes, Jim, Tom C on help with the track, Hank, and others. This is a great group of volunteers that work their butts off to make this happen. Brian and MLM motorsports for an awesome job with the sled.
I think the fair was pleased with the show, and will likely have us back next year. So stay with it everyone, if you pullers continue to show support like this, we will be back in 09, bigger and better than ever.
Thanks again to all of you - well done.

Truck ran good for experimental tunes Mike.

Awesome event Craig, and as you mentioned props to all involved with putting this together on such a short notice. I think we all represented diesel sled pulling in SOCAL pretty damn well last night and I am sure you will be invited back next year by the fair board
The venue is great for this as well, more so in conjunction with the AV Fair and the track was much better this time around.
Nice hook Mike for a drag racer, get that weight bracket bro
Who is this Colton guy that took street stock and why doesn’t he pull with us more often?
Nick, hope you made it home with that three legged trailer, congratulations on the win, and how about that sleeper of Bob’s taken second, way to go Bob.
Kat, super video's thanks for sharing
Had a great time,
BBD

Big Thanks to Craig for putting on the event. You were good with the tech and we apprecaite that! Thank you Brian & Jeremy for running the sled too.
We got most of the trucks on video. i started out and had to move weights after Megan pulled so there is a couple-truck gap i believe in the stock class. I think we got everything else.
Mike you did a great job with that ford-can't belive its still in one piece... Cole you did a great job as well, especially in the unlimited single class. Megan did great running the tow vehicle down the track with a 350HP tune in it. BBD i didn't think you were ever going to stop!
We lost a wheel bearing on the trailer and Betty let us work on at her shop last minute, not to mention washing the truck and getting it ready for the fair. Thank you Betty!! Joel ended up chaining the axle up as we could find a replacement and we limped it home on 6 tires.
Big thanks to Joel from J&H for offering to do whatever is needed to put the trailer back together..
Congrats to all the competitiors. Hopefully we'll all be back next year. Thanks for posting the videos Kat! It was nice seeing you again gasout and Joe..

That was fun to go watch. I was going to pull untill I got there and saw that the bracket that ataches my ladar bars to the axle was cracked so i decided not to pull. Ow well next time.

Hello all, First post on this site. Thanks Craig for putting on the pull. It was fun, nothing broke.Everybody was really nice. Thanks also to all the tech guys and Betty. Congrats to the winners in both classes. I had a good pull getting 4th in Street class. I should have run a bigger tune. I was worried about the heat earlier in the day and was afraid it would not be able to use all the fuel with the higher temps.
