Yesterday, We finished mounting the bedsides, cutting wheel openings, and sanding/straightening out the cuts from the mold. The hood and bed sides are going to the paint shop today and should be back before the weekend. The clear powdercoat on the axle housings turned out just how we wanted.

Welding supports for bed sides.

Those RCVs are very strong!!! A LOT of off road racers run them as do several GM sled pullers. I have them on my truck too...

It wasn't what i really wanted to do because of the cost, but they are the only guys i could find to build the shaft i needed.

Looks simple... all you need is big lathe, nice live or dead center, incredible tig welding skills, and knowledge on how to make it fit and work.....!!!! (Sarcasm)

I love seeing all the custom parts and pieces that are going into this truck. I've tried to build lots of custom parts over the years and it gives me more appreciate for those that can do it and do it well!!
