Crank signal & tps signal PCM - Competition Diesel.Com

I got a question that I cannot recall anyone asking or mentioning. The pcm (bulk head mounted) has provisions for a hardwired crank signal and tps signal. Anyone ever fed these circuits in attempt to by-pass the block mounted ecm? This would only work on mechanically injected trucks. If at all.

I may be doing some experimentation this weekend. :nerd:

Looking more into this you would lose the ect and oil pressure gauges as they are bussed info to the pcm. However if a gasser pcm was used...this just may work yet.
