Synthetic oil?

What kinda oil do yall run in your trucks? I was looking at some AMS oil one of my friends has and they rate that stuff at 50,000 miles? Does this full synthetic deal help any on a daily driver (front to back synthetic)?

I use amsoil in my daily driver/ hauler, works great, starts great even when it gets cold up here. We have done several customers trucks front to rear and gained 2-5mpg aswell. We still change at severe use intervals however.

Thanks, hope it helps.

Synthetic here as well. Gained 3 mpg over regular oil. The biggest difference is in the engine oil. Just my experience.

Amsoil front to rear, picked up 2 mpg - and bearings looked PERFECT at 120K. 50K is pushing it if your fueling hard but oil analysis is the best way to be sure. I'd say its def. worth it to run full syn

I have been running schaeffers oil for the last few years and seems to work well. I did try amsiol in the tow rig and haven't seen much gain but it on a trailer most of the time it seems.
