2008 6.4 rattle at high idle?

My 08 has a bad rattle at high idle. coming from engine compartmennear front/passenger side. Doesnt sound like anything internal/worrisome to me. More like a plastic to plastic rattle. But i cannot find where it is coming from. Im hoping maybe somebody has seen this before.....https://vimeo.com/152562919

6.4's in general has lots of valvetrain problems. the factory dpf system causes fuel to get into the crankcase oil. if it was ever driven with the emissions intact its probably badly worn. time to pull valve covers and inspect. i just did one a couple days ago the rockers were so worn several pivots were missing the rockers were riding on the bridges and it only had 119k on it . the roller lifters fail quite often as well when the rollers fail they make similar noise. 6.4 also have fuel tick ford has tsb for that. i cant ever say i have ever really heard it either, usually the valvetrain is worn out

good deal . super common problem we normally sell 2-3 sets of tensioners a week usually rockers run fine up till failure point. pretty much any time we have trucks apart we check them.
