P-V, Protrusion

Hi
I'm looking for some information about the engine I'm rebuilding. The engine is from an agricultural machine but I cannot find specifications, but it is a Cummins 6BT 5.9 '98 135hp 2200rpm max 2400rpm, in-line injection pump.

The pistons (3802747) in the catalog and in mine have gradations of 51.78 mm, which means that the protrusion was 0.030 " (0.78 mm)? The block was machined, but I don't know by how much and the current protrusion is 0.034" The Cummins specification theoretically allows up to 0.036, but I don't know When.

The second issue is P-V clearance. Valve min. reces is 0.041 (ex) and on the old gasket 0.060 P-V clearance is 0.043 for EX and 0.066 for IN.
It's hard to say what kind of camshaft this is. Measured int. lift 0.228, exh. 0.271.
What do you think, to use a 0.060 or 0.070 gasket?
