Stall speed on an 05
If folks have tightened up the stall on the auto trans are you seeing service engine codes?

My 03 stall speed is lower than stock and I do not have any issues.

P01740...O/D Solenoid Perf Code...happened with mine all the time.
ECM doesnt see the proper rpm drop upon lockup and thinks something is wrong.
Fixed it with EFI...

05 no efi, does it just pop a code, no performance issues?

If it is the 1740 code it doesn't derate or anything. It typically won't set if you don't drive like a grandma. :-)
I have no idea how they do it, but when Ultimate Transmission started doing my transmissions, I very rarely get the code anymore. Both my 02 and my 05 use to do it.

2003 48RE, really Tight Stall. I drive slower than the average person, Mostly runs around 1200 - 1600 rpm. No codes...
