It's not likely a place you've thought to look, but there is a REALLY good tech. article over on Pirate4x4.com called BRAKE BIBLE. I'd suggest you take a peak at it. It might help.

I think it will be fine. The time I had the issue with was due to someone swerving into my lane while I was coming down the track. I was going 95 and he was ready to turn off onto the first turn off. Of course he didn't even look back when he cut over and that was almost a bad deal.
