That is bad a$$. Hope they stiffen up the front suspension cause it looks like those sts are wanting to eat the fender.

3.42s and 30" tires, we hit 4276rpm in overdrive according to data log which calculates to a little tire growth at speed.

I thought for sure they'd try a set of mod truck "cut" tires.... but in the DOT tire pulling world, those look great and should put them near the top of the pulling event class.

Can 1-ton OEM drivetrain components handle mod class cut tires for (2) glory pulls on a sandy loose Intermountain West pulling track?

Dont think the driveline would live with Bar tires....

But if he's going to swap to a 9 inch after anyway, I voted close the event with full cuts! It'll either go great or break! Probably break.

The ring and pinion may not take the duals let alone bar tires.

I would say depends on the track.... DOT duals can load and unload..... where cuts are more consistent..... Just my
