What head gasket o ring head
Putting my engine together, just pickup my new head. Measured piston potrusion so looks like I'm going to be opting for a .010 over head gasket. Question is what gasket are you supposed to use for a o-ringed 24v head. Pure diesel sells a modified marine 12v gasket to use with a oringed 24v head but I was under the impression any 12v head gasket would work? Do I need the modified 12v or will it just lay on. Thought just the common rails had to have the coolant passages modified.
