Ive dropped my lowboy neck onto my fleet engineers poly fenders a couple of times. They pop back into shape on there own. I want hodgebuilt fenders but I know what would happen after a week.

I have a mechanical lowbed and only have an inch each side to play with. Needless to say Ive clipped them. The nuline have held up well.
Dad has minimizer and they cracked much easier than mine and didnt pop back as nice. I walk on mine as well.
At half the price Ill stick with them.

Just did a set of fleet engineers a few weeks ago. Pretty nice other than the radiuses were off from each other some. Fleetpride on sale for like 260 bux was a bonus

These are the kind of fenders I like. They dont spring back into shape if you hit them, and Id probably choke anyone I caught walking on them.

The radius is rarely "off" as tehy are all made in the same mold. It usually has to do with how they were shipped or stored. I always fix the radius when mounting.

Cant have nice stuff like that up here lol mounts would snap and rocks would destroy the fenders.
If I could run nice stuff like that I would. But poly fenders are the best option.

The roads are rough as sh!t here. And we also do bush running. The mounts and fenders would crack in a heartbeat. Even with good mounts and nice stainless fenders, its only a matter of time before they start to crack.
The one road I travel up north is 350 km one direction and built with big rocks and granite.
We can have nice equipment but nice fibreglass fenders wouldnt last.

We use sometimes. Most cb have built in set meter and just tune your antenna to that.
I prefer the 2 ways. Depending who I talk to I can get 25 miles out of it.

Nice
Where we take our RGN, we have resigned ourselves to the fact that eventually our fenders will get a scratch. As long as they can take it, that's all we care.

So in light of the fender discussion that has been going on, I have a question.
This is my first rodeo with “nice” fenders.
How much fender to trailer clearance do you guys have on level ground?
I lowered my truck 4”, built fifth wheel risers to put my fifth wheel at 49.5” at ride height, set my fenders about 1” off the (new) tires with the suspension dumped.
I have 6.25” of fender to trailer clearance and I hope to God I never get this thing twisted up enough to hit!
