Count on 2mpg better, depending on how much you drive, could pay the deletes off pretty quick. I tracked miles before for a couple weeks, same 75mile drive to work every day, then for a couple weeks after, gained just about 105miles per tank after deletes.

You only get better mileage if you keep driving the same...for me more power means I drive harder which means my fuel economy never gets better.

I recently hauled a small pickup back from PA with my deleted 2010. Pulling a car hauler trailer weighing approx. 1500lbs up there, it got 18.73 mpg. Pulling the truck and trailer back, approx. 5k lbs, it got 14.91 mpg. We stuck to major highways and interstates as often as possible and kept the truck at 65 mph.

I have seen better fuel mileage results with custom tuning than what box tuners have previously offered.

So on the 07.5-09 you can just replace the exhaust from turbo back, put a plug in the EGR crossover pipe, install a delete programmer and call it good?

Yes, unplug all sensors in the exhaust, egr valve(with H&S) on intake horn and the connector on the lower part of the intake horn for the throttle valve

Anybody got a pic of where the throttle valve is? Something different than the valve that is on top of the intake horn?

It's on the end of the intake horn next to the rubber boost coupler.

looks like a rectangular box on the intake horn. reach under with your left hand, and you'll feel the plug

Real tempted to do something to my 2011 sometime soon. I've heard the good the bad and the ugly from all sides. Some say guys are losing turbos and some say head gaskets. So what say you? DPF & EGR or just DPF? Most the word on the teeter totter I hear is do not do the EGR if you plan on keeping the stock charger as it uses the EGR as a form of waste gate due to the imbalance of drive and boost pressure. The truck is a my work truck and it sees a lot of miles daily and even a small bump in milage would add up in the long run.
