Stout run, when mine ran 6.9 at about that same mph, it was 10.90 in the 1/4.

Hopefully with slicks I’ll be able to hold a harder launch. Maybe get it down closer to 6.7 or better

I do not tow much with that truck at all. I mean it depends what you are purposing this truck for. if you have to tow heavy then I would go with something smaller then mine but I am sure guys will chime in who tow with larger injectors so lets see what people have to say.

So I towed a 12k bumper pull generator with the setup but was only about 25 miles of flat land. did fine but felt pretty heavy at the same time. I have not tried to pull my gooseneck with it and probably will not try. think when I get home I'm going to shed some weight off of it and that will be one thing to go but not 100% on that.

I towed 10k with a 476/96/T6 on 250% overs on a low compression 5.9 over the Smokey mountains. With a manual valve body it wasn’t bad, keep the duration low and delay the shifts. Not recommended for daily towing but can be useful occasionally. That single is larger than your secondaries and not even compounded. If you know how to properly manipulate your transmission towing is simple

Biggest plus of stand alone. I can change my tranny shift points on the fly . No need to go bigger until I get better rods. I have plenty of air but the rods scar me.

That’s why I run singles much easier imo to keep a stock bottom end together. All I had was studs, springs, push rods, and rod bolts
