Testing The New Hamilton 181/210 Cam
I am still running a stock cam in my truck, yes bone stock. I was talking to Ryan at Hamilton Cams today about a customers truck, when the conversation about the new 181/210 cam came up. Ryan said that I will notice a huge gain blah, blah, blah. I offered to test one for him with dyno results and we made a deal. Today he shipped out a cam & the new 110# springs my way. I'm gonna try to get on a dyno soon to get my numbers with a bone stock cam. I will be changing absolutely nothing but the cam and springs before returning to the same dyno. What tests would you guys like to see so that I can start collecting data? Ofcourse I'll be towing my 18k# trailer on the same course for one test.

I can't do same day, but we will do same dyno, same correction factor etc. I won't sugarcoat nothing, I promise you that.

I put mine in last weekend and Wow this 76 mm turbo starts to light about 500 rpm sooner (did a little work on the head too) and his new springs are 170 lb if I recall not 110. You will love it. The first time I got on it I poped the head gasket but right before it went omg this thing pulled!

My truck already spools well on lowend. I'm hoping it opens up the topend. Lots of airflow improvements in the works. I'm gonna try to get my stainless manifold on before we start dynoing too.

You better get a bigger exhaust housing before you push it too hard.

I doubt it was this same cam 2 years ago. Zach has changed the 181/210 a few times in the last couple years. I should be getting my new one any time. I hope to dyno before and after as well.

What made you want the 181/210? What about the 188/220.

What a/r housings are you running on your current charger?

My head was decked, but its been 5 years. I can't remember how much it was decked. I went with the 181/210 because I didn't want to get into too much work, just swap cams and be done with it. My A/R is .80
