Filter setup

I'm thinking about making my own filter/pump for doing wmo. I was just draining it through sock filters, but that is messy and time consuming.

For those of you who have built your own setup, what do you use for a filter? I already have my eyes on a pump (with a fuel nozzle and everything), I just need to figure out a way to filter it.
