Your going to want a 93-96 DT466, not the DT466E. It will come with a P pump that you can makes some cheap power with. Your going to have to re work the firewall and maybe a body lift, the motor is about 9" longer then the 7.3. Heavier front springs to handle the 1400 lbs motor. Theres alot more but those are some basics. Look for a tractor pulling video with a DT466 in it, I dont think the trucks stock frame will handle it. Thats something else to think about.

powersnorter over at TDS has done the swap. His truck is a purpose built pulling truck, IIRC its 2000 hp. Its absolutely insane.

Maybe you could try and fit the Ford cab on to the 4700 chassis.

Are the 466s pretty easy to coax hp out of? I always thought they were a turd, but I have only played with them in the medium duty trucks. I have actually passed on a couple free ones. a couple years ago.

The 93-95 have the P-pump. Basically a 12v cummins with 100 extra cubes. Powersnorter got his to fit because he doesn't run a radiator or intercooler. Otherwise, your looking at reworking the firewall and a body lift unless you want to lose room in the cab. If you're looking for huge power, then I don't know what to tell you to do with the frame. Boxing it would be a good start regardless of the power you want to make. Try to get the engine and crossmember together. The crossmember sits just inside the frame rails and makes for an easier install. I can't tell you what kind of tranny will take that kind of abuse. Maybe an allison shop could build you one off the MT653 platform. Wiring isn't an issue, just starter relay to the pump and one to the starter.
How do I know this? I have a 93 DT466 engine in my 74 F250 Crew Cab.

Ever seen a Pro-Stock, or Super-Stock tractor?? Chances are, if it's red, it started out with an IH466

Using the crossmember that came with the engine, it slipped inside the frame rails and left 1/4" on each side if I remember right. Boxed the frame with some thick steel and it fits like a glove.

Where'd you find the motor at if you don't mind me asking? And roughly how much was it?

Motor came from VA. I paid $2500 for the motor and and allison AT545. I sold the tranny, so that helped offset the cost. Motor ran when pulled and had 135K on it. Not too many miles for an engine that is factory rated to run until at least 500k and then do an in vehicle rebuild on.

Found it on ebay. Guy sent the title with it too. He came out alright. He bought the whole bus for $600 according to the title. I'll see if I can find his name.
