12 valve into 24 valve truck

I'm sure there's people out there that have done this, I have the 12 valve in the 24 valve truck I have both 12 and 24 valve engine harnesses, and cab harnesses I'm struggling to get the dash gauges to work, am I better to use the 24 valve harnesses or what will work, any help is appreciated, thanks
 
I've been looking around, is it possible to change out the dash wiring harness from the 24 valve truck and put in a 12 valve harness for the gauges to work then, or are the gauge clusters different
