1997 Dodge Ram 2500
1997 Dodge Ram 2500 extended cab long box 12v Cummins turbo diesel, 287k miles, 4x4, a/c works, 4:10 gears, grey exterior, cloth interior, installed tow mirrors, 20x10 matte black aluminum rims with 275/65r20 cooper ats tires, HE351 turbo swap using stainless diesel charge pipe and spring gate, glow**** gauges, ARP2000 headstuds, HD valve springs, 4k gov spring kit, MAC rack plug, no fuel plate w/pump tuning(barely smokes), timing adjusted to 19 degrees. Trans is a 47re with DPC billet triple disc converter, TCS aermet billet input, TCS matched billet aluminum dual ring servo/accumulator piston/ 4.2 billet lever, strut, and anchor kit, Firepunk valve body with new electronics and 48re HD gov pressure solenoid. Trans was just removed to install the aeromet shaft within the past 500 miles and was tore down and inspected while it was out. I bought this truck last August with a blown headgasket due to a broken ARP headstud. I replaced the headgasket with an OE std cummins gasket, replaced the ARP stud, while I was at it I replaced the front timing cover due to kdp failure at some point causing it to crack the case, installed new dowl pin and used the BD KDP tab kit, new water pump, new radiator, new tappet cover gasket, new valve cover gaskets, lift pump, fuel filter, fuel bowl heater delete, HD serpentine belt, rebuilt entire front drive shaft, new steering stabilizer, and 2 brand new NAPA batteries. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things. This truck runs awesome and cruises down the road very nice. Everything has been done in the last 1k miles besides the previous transmission work which I believe has been done in the last 5k miles. I also have a black aftermarket grille for it.
Now for the bad.
Truck has a rebuilt title, rust on the rockers(cab corners solid), the bed is beat up, rusted, and paint faded( I did put a rust free tailgate on it). Immediately after replacing the head gasket and doing everything I found the head to be externally cracked between cylinder 5-6 where the headgasket was also blown previously. Head does leak coolant slowly from said crack and the head needs to be replaced. I've been actively searching for a head and have been driving the truck with no issues besides the small leak. If I find a head and get it replaced price goes up. A good used head can be had for $150-$400 and I have an extra headgasket for it.
Originally bought the truck to tow my 06 but I need the money to finish my engine build.
Miles will go up as I still use it.
Asking $6000 obo

Forgot to mention it has a new block heater, 12mm banjo bolt on top of fuel filter canister to run a fuel pressure gauge(currently has a snubber and 0-100psi aeromotive gauge), new RF tierod end, new front brake line up front(one that runs from drivers wheel to passenger side), and one new one in the rear. Also has an aftermarket CD player.

Drove to Indiana today and picked up a head for the truck. Going to drop it off to the machine shop in the morning.
