Wiring harness help!!!

A buddy of mine was driving his truck and heard something get caught in fan. he killed the truck and pulled over to find out that the clamps had broke off the part of the wiring harness that runs across the bottom of the rad and surely enough that was what got caught in fan. Lost all headlights as well as alt stopped charging. whats the best way for him to go about fixing it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Man, we at least need the BASICS to even begin to know what to say.
What year, make, model and engine is in the truck?

i posted it in 98-02.. its a 2001 dodge ram 2500 laramie 24v auto truck.

Best way to fix it is to splice the wires back together.

That’s what I was thinking. It shredded he wires so will have to wire in new wires. Didn’t know what all was in that harness so far all I know is lights turn signals and alternator
