Cheap easy mods for 6.2
A friend just picked up an early-mid 80's 1 ton Chevy with a 6.2 at a military base. The truck is in very good shape and only has 12k on it.
What are some easy hp mods for this engine?
Anything to look out for?

I have heard that they have problems with starters going out.

The military units already have a higher delivery rate injection pump on them and I believe they have the non-egr intake manifold on them already. Other than a Banks sidewinder turbo kit or headers, not much.
