Cummins Swap in a 6.0

Ok, Im gonna attempt to update this as it is completed. I purchased an 04 F250, Crew, Short bed, Lariat, 4x4, 6.0, auto. Engine was severly over heated, like melted the plastic stand pipe in the oil filter hot. Picked it up for 5k with 124000 on the clock. Has 2 brand new batteries.

The plan is:
Ppumped 24V with a 215 pump and 4GSK kit. Enough supporting stuff for 500hp.
ZF6 with a 3250 DD

Im still not sure how to wire up that stupid electric transfer case. Hopefully that will be working.

Overall everything that did work before will work after the swap. Planing for a 500hp tow rig.

Here are some pics.

Truck was in my possesion a total of 4hrs at this point:

When I did mine, I used a Ambulance battery box. This moved the right hand battery to the framerail under the bed. Makes the room for the airfilter in the righthand battery location. I'll try to find the pics and post them.
P/S pump? Do you know how your going to mount it....got pics of thay to, it easy.

I think Im going to mount both batteries on the left side near the stock location.

P/S pump, looks like I will just need a dodge end on the line. Is there something Im missing?

Any help is appriciated.

You can rconvert NV273 to mechanical NV271, by removing electric motor and replacing it with lever.

I want to keep it electric for some damn reason. Auto hubs and such. Not sure of which wires or harness to use. The transmission harness had the transfercase wires tied into it. And its gone now.

Did Ford offer the electric T-case behind the ZF6?

Ive made little progress, waiting of stuff is the killer. And waiting on the 6.0 crap to sell to give me some extera fundage.

I did manage to "trim" the wiring harnesses. That was simple really. Although I did cut the cam and crank sensor wires off the engine harness, Im hoping to god that the tach kits hook up elsewhere.

Finished product:

Ill loom the wires after the engine is in so I can hide others in it too. Pyro and such.

Im still debating the trans thing.

Need to get some info on the cruise control part. If you have it, please PM me.

Need the radiator hose part numbers.

I may be throwing an exhaust brake between the twins now.

The machine shop called today, my block is ready.

Need to order sound deadener, lots of it. And a tube of sprayable seam sealer.

You should be able to plug the t case in with the factory harness, just gut the trans wiring out.
