Not for daily driving, very laggy, It start creating boost at 60mph before it's just smoke show

Better find S465 or similar, do not waste your time and money
I only see 60 lbs of boost on my pro52. I don't think it is so laggy but can be one hell of a smoke show, but it don't take long for it to boost up depending on how I shift gears. This turbo is my first other than a stock hx35 that over spools,so please excuse my ignorance of the issue. Thanks Eddie

I ran a HX52 last year on my dodge...65lb boost and as happy as could be! I only took it off cause the engine got built for bigger power. It was 67/69/16 if I remember correctly.

My truck ran a HX50 with a machined 6cm housing on it.. J Mez Turbo does em for the 24 Auto trucks.. I am having a 9cm Housing machined to fit the exhaust wheel now. The HX50 6cm .. spoled instant and ran really nice ha saw about 50-55 psi top end.. only issue its it was a bark machine it was super hard not to bark it..and my truck is standard too..
just some different ideas.

I'm not sure on the hp potential..I assume lots of back pressure.. i didn't have agauge on it and now its torn apart anny how..i am doing twins no so it will have hx50 9cm and a Ht3e 20cm..small twins ..hopefully work good fro towing and around town etc..
I bought a truck that had the turbo in it. The hx50 had the modified factory 6cm housing from a hy30 (I think that was the 6cm factory turbo??).. J mez's Phone # is 1 (513)290-8285
My friend has a bridgeport mill and has bored out a hy35 9cm factory gated turbine houing for me. We still have to weld in center section hold down clamps to the turbine , and we have to weld on a waste gate arm attachment boss also..as the hy35 the wastgate actuator is attached to the compressor housing etc. like i said the hx50 6cm made boost from idle..and maxed about 55psi on top end..it was gated ...the truck can be seen running here at a pull in ohio..
YouTube - Shawn Dance - Hillsboro Ohio 2007
YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. original builder had wooddruff diesel do a bunch of stuff to it ..o ring head, pulling clutch, rebuild a nv4500 etc..
Thanks
Deo
