how my quarts - Competition Diesel.Com

just got my 95 7.3 and it does not have an owners manuel in it.
so periodily i may have a question.
one of thoughs questions is how many quarts of motor oil does it hold.
i googled it and got anything from 12 to 16

it should be 14-16 depending on if you change the filter everytime. i usually get 4 gallons and a filter and it comes out just about right. hope that helps

Humm mine is 14 w/filter anyone know why thay went from 16 in 96 to 14 in 97??

sure dont know why yours is but my 97 still takes 16 with the filter
