P-pump 6.7 cr?

Does anyone sell a complete kit or is it not worth it? I will drive my truck 10 miles a day and shooting for 900hp so is the p-pump driveable at that hp? I was just think a programmer and dual cp3's and so on I could just go with a p-pump right?

I got it back on the road today. Mileage isn't great, just under 18, but I have been doing alot of short trips around the neighborhood playing with the tuning. I decided to re-plumb the air system for the afc and try to run if off the low pressure (cold pipe) side instead of manifold pressure. It's going to take a bit more tinkering to find just the right spring. It's still a bit tight right now and isn't allowing full arm travel till about 35psi(cold pipe). The injectors idle clean with the engine warmed up and an outside temp of 84 degrees. No visible smoke. I followed an older powerstroke into town just now and going up a modest grade at 62mph he was smoking alot more than i was. I did a couple of lazy 3/4 throttle roll ons from 70 to 110-120 or so and there is some haze, but it does not black out the road. I didn't try full throttle, but i can tell the fuel is lagging slightly behind the air. I looked down on the last run and saw the pyrometer was at 1200 just as i backed out of it. Hopefully i'll get some numbers toward the end of the month.

I've been putting a few miles on the new injectors. They require carefull use of the throttle. Too much too soon and it goes lethargic and rolls smoke. Mash the pedal and you can eat a sandwich before it lights. Roll into it just right and don't give it the last 1/4 of throttle till around 60psi and it runs really nice. I've been trying to get the afc spring just right and finally gave up and decided to just use better throttle control. I let if go to full fuel locked in second and shifted to third under power and it felt like I was rear ended by a train(god bless you Brad Ponci for building this transmission). We'll add the timing tomorrow and dyno saturday morning.

Got a chance to dyno the new injectors. On the first run they made 52hp more than the best I have made with the Mach 7's. It was a bit of a bummer because I started having some issues with the wastegates and we weren't able to add the additional timing I'd like to try. Smoke level and driveability are no worse than the Mach 7's. Made two trips to Redding and back(250 miles each) plus the dynos and was at 19mpg. Very pleased and looking forward to getting a chance to play with the tuning a bit more.

Good to hear Ron, the smoke issue sounds manageable since they are 1.3LPM larger than the 7's.

I was hoping to break 950. I got 933 on the first run with only about 35psi out of the primary. I started messing with the gate plumbing and couldn't get it to do what i wanted for some reason. We'll try again some other time.

Checked the timing yesterday and I was at 22 degs. Timing was at 24 degs. with the 7's, so I expect to see a bit more of a difference when I bump it up. Wouldn't be suprised to see 100 hp difference between the 2 sets of injectors. I guess rainbows and baby foxes are a good thing Tim.
