tap throttle to start......

Idle seems fine.....just want crank up without without tapping the throttle....! one of the fuel ines btwn pusher pump and inj pump went bad, i fixred it and it still acts like the battery's are weak! any need to bleed the lines....2yr old optima redtops checked out fine with batt tester. All connections on a 1.5yr rebuilt starter....any idea's???

i always have to give it throttle for mine to start. are there any fuel leaks?

After I installed the 3k's in my pump and setting the idle it would take a few more revolutions before it would fire now comparing that before the springs I could bump the starter and it would fire. What I did is turn the smoke screw in I believe 1/4 turn for a little more pre-boost fuel. Now she fires like it did with the stock springsand smoke control is still good.
