$50,000 Purse for a Diesel Race!!

I didn't see a single pass where that truck cleaned up, from 1 set of lights to the other.

I was very encouraged to see the level of build quality & design detail on the Super Stock trucks!

hey man does anyone have an extra x-large event t shirt

by the time we got in sat they were all gone..anybody got one to sell me

Marco, you're a pretty cool dude. I was the guy that took the picture of you and Aron after his win in Garmon's bus.

Ya Marco he was the dude with the flat bill Kansas City Royals hat that you were asking me "Why does he not bend the bill of his hat. It looks so silly!"LOL

Yup, but I Don't quiet think the 1.2x 60 ft. math computes...

I don't think he'd claim it either...

Yeah, he showed me the timeslip, it was a 1.245 60' time IIRC, but I didn't want to take anything away from his elation by suggesting a bogus time (and I watched the pass from behind the grandstands so I didn't see it very well). My guess was smoked lights or body panels hanging down.

Yeah, I understand not wanting to pop the bubble... But I think he'd have taken it well... It would save him some embarrasment if he'd gone and bragged about it...

I'm sure he knows by now...

No biggie though... He has an awesome truck, just needs to get a few issues worked out...

He was a very good guy. Didn't seem like the type to do that. He was very appreciative of the help and advice he was given by some of these guys. Wish them the best of luck. Nice seeing somethin new/different. I think they found out that a 1.32 housing is for sled pullers though not drag racing.

no matter..truck hauled ass by the end of the day..itll git there..someone knows whats goin on

I agree!

Seemed like a Stand Up guy / crew!

I met a few of those guys they were all pretty cool. from what i heard 7 weeks previous to the race it was a straight up daily driver so the did pretty damn good in my book. i know the had problems lightin the turbo and they popped an intercooler boot a couple times but seems to me they can have a pretty fast truck after workin out a few small issues.

That air dam on that truck was very low. My guess would be that they tripped the lights. I would like to see what that truck can do once its ready to go.

Does anyone know how much weight they added to that truck? It seemed like everywhere I looked in the bed there was weights.
