homemade intake plenum

I know my sig is a 6.7 but I need to ask some 5.9er's about an afermarket plenum. I noticed that I gained 4psi of boost and my idle egt's are about 50° lower than stock. Also at 100mph with the edge turned up my temp was 1050°, so im happy there. But I noticed that the egt's fluctuate really fast and it climbed up to 1500° and just as soon as it does it drops once the truck catches up with the throttle. I will post some pics of it later but I know the truck pulls better especially on take off. My whole theory is that more air means more fuel has to be added so there will be a temporary gain until she levels out. Btw the intake is super smooth, i've just never experienced a new plenum, and advice will help and what alhave y'all heard or experienced

Very sweet intake. Congratulations! Your fab skills are amazing.
 
A new plenum can be a very exciting experience. I know once I put one on my truck it ran so well I threw the turbo in the garbage. Post some pics of that bad boy and get ready for the riot. These guys will go crazy!
 
As soon as I sell this 118mm charger I'll be buying a new plenum, they really flow the air Im looking for.

Scrap is decently high here. Probably get enough money out of that junk turbo to buy a sweet plenum. It would run so much better too.

I have to laugh at all the idiots upgrading turbos. They'll never know what happened when I blow past em on plenum power!
 
I have duel plenums, and I had to get sheep skin seat covers to help with the G force.
 
I have pics on my home computer, I will post them after dinner, im having whamburgers and french cries. Check back late tonight, after all im so popular no lol
 
You know if you put the home made intake horn in your sig you will be ready to rock!
