Just curious here. After seeing some vp trucks with top feed injectors. Has anyone done it with a p-pumped 24v? I tried searching and didnt find anything. Would it be worth it? Single feed injector only. Similar to the monster pump setup, but with a p-pump instead of the vp.

Very costly.$$$$$$ what i have seen and work on. They are using JD injectors.I know of a few 24p-pumps around here that are using it. All are pullers.

But these are with injector returns under the valve cover, not in the head like monster mikes setup.. I would like to see a set of monster mikes injectors with a p-pump.

Yes, this is what I was refering too. Basically monster pump mikes injectors set to ppump pop pressure. I was wondering if anyone had done that.

I am sure if you told mike that is your intentions he would flip out and tell you he wouldn't sell you anything. That is no joke, dude has way too big of a hard-on for a VP. I do agree though that it would be a slick setup, there has to be some advantage to removing the crossover tune from the standard p-pump 24v.

Yeah, easier to install the lines, lol

Yeah, I had a feeling he wouldnt be to thrilled with the idea. He obviously see's an advantage to eliminating the cross over tube. Or its just something else to sell.

Not quite. He'll help guys out with p pumps. The vp is just his thing, can't argue that.

Yes. I talked with him for a while about doing a set, i just couldn't justify the money for the gain in performance. It is a sweet setup though!

I do agree that it looks cool. I was mostly just curious when I started this thread. I didnt plan on running out and buying all this stuff. Then my truck would turn into a weekend warrior and I would have to buy a new DD. The thought of that setup with a 13mm ppump and compounds gets my blood pumping though. All said and done. If I were to ppump my truck. The standard way would probably be best for me. Not only would it be cheaper, but there would be more options of parts manufacturers. Mainly injector choices. All to end up with about the same HP.
