Ok. If I were closer I would come help ya out! Basically you backprobe the connector, hook up a lead to the scanner and connect it to the pin you used to backprobe and to a good ground and then set the scanner up to view a 5 volt pattern and set the trigger to be the same channel as you are using to view the pattern. I always use channel one. If you get the scanner and go under the lab scope function what I just said will make a lot more sense.

You have a modis or verus? Where are you located?

Edit: I don't think the IPR should be going to 85% That is maxed out....

I believe it jumps to 85% when it sees long crank no start times.
What pressure is it showing when cranking?

I pulled crank sensor out and put my bore camera in the hole and rotated the motor and everything looked good. Darn truck only has 59000 miles on it but it looks like it may go away.

Ill trade ya for a Toyota? :hehe:

Has it run since you put the new injectors in?

yea it has run since the injectors. Iam trying to get stuff gone so I can clear up some things. But I appreciate the thought. Yes the IPR goes to 85 on long cranking times,I checked another truck.

cranking it over the IPR is at 48 psi and the ICP tops out at 1800. I still can't get synch. I am going to back track everything tomorrow and see if I can find anything I might have missed and also put the other truck back together.

I want to say again I really appreciate everyones help and comments. I just can't thank ya'll enough.

Unplug the ICP and check the IPR pressure again. If it doesn't get to 450 or more you have a HPOP issue or leak in that system.

Morning to ya'll. I unplugged the ICP and cranked it over and the pressure jumped to 1485 within three revolutions of the motor.

How long did it run after the injectors were installed ?

It ran about a month before it acted up. I started messing with it this morning and now it throws a cam fault. The cam sensor is new but I am going to replace it again to see if that stops. I would bury it some where but I am afraid it would grow a bunch of little powerstrokes.

I still got a Toyota Ill trade ya.. :Cheer:
Are you getting any smoke or anything out of the tailpipe?

If you want to know for sure if the injectors are firing or not put a amp clamp around the injector wires, should have a 20 amp pulse, the last 2 trucks I put ficms in the voltages all looked good so I checked that and the ficm just wasn't firing.

I have back tracked everything and here is what I have now. I ohmed out the wiring and all of it is good. spinning it over it shows 195 rpms 45on the IPR. ICP goes to 1800. The FICM and the PCM will start the other truck. All grounds are good and clean.
Now it immediately throws a p0335 and p2614 and will not synch. I don't know what else to say except it's going to be a good bon fire.
Even though the PCM started the other truck is there any way to tell if it is still bad on this truck. Sorry guys for being a nuisance.
