Everything is the same but the starter mount on the nv4500 is raised like thicker? Moving the starter toward the front of the truck?

Your plate will mount to a nv4500? An then the starter just requires a spacer basically?

The 2nd gen block plates are ALL the same, there is no auto or manual.
The confusion comes from the 2001-2002 NV5600s having a revised flywheel ring gear, which necessitates a spacer to shim the starter forward.

Thank you for the clarification, much appreciated. I remember when me and my buddy did a manual swap and a shim plate was included.

Btw I figured it was to late to give you a call tonight, I'll give you a call tomorrow buddy.

Thanks mark for clearing it up.
Thanks dieselhead as well. I have a motor with An auto plate and I sold my other that had the nv4500 plate on it and I have to mount a nv4500 bell so I should be fine the .
