Just wanted to say thanks. I started a topic over on the DTR like this a while back and a few people turned it into a political discussion like the one just closed today. A real shame, you guys/gals deserve much more but atleast a public place to be commended.

So again thank you.

I need to get in on this one. I am former USAF. I want to Thank all of you too for defending our freedom.

Okay, obviously many people have blinders on to reality and the point of what I've been saying.

I WAS NOT BASHING OUR TROOPS. I was simply trying to help Dodgentwo from making a bad choice in this time of very poor leadership from our president.

Let's clear this up shall we?
I DO support our troops, I DON'T support our criminal president, Iraq has NOTHING to do with 9/11 and ALL of you that started and continued the bashing in that other thread are the "un-american" ones in this place.

Instead of rationally debating my point of view and facts presented you all decided to degrade yourselves into lowlife poop-throwing chimpanzees, bash me, tell me to get out of the country and other such stupid things. Its people like you that need to take a chill pill, set aside your BLIND patriotism and look objectively at how screwed up the entire Iraq conquest is.

I'm all for protecting our country, people and freedoms but Iraq is not doing any of that.

For those of you that are in service or have been, THANK YOU!
For those of you that are not in service and are thinking of joining to fight in/for Iraq, DON'T WASTE YOUR LIFE!

Well, the war in Iraq has everything to do with fighting the terrorist their then having to rely on "patriots" like you fighting them here. War sucks, while I am no huge fan of W, I support my CIC. when you get back from your vacation perhaps you can explain the criminal charges he is guilty of.

Great another shut down thread. Thats why I tried to PM you about it OM617. I wanted to express my sincerest feelings about how brain dead you are without shutting down a thread. Moron.

Ladies & Gentlemen...let's just end the bullcrap with this guy at this post, and keep it on topic. No sense in ****ting up another perfectly good thread. He can make his own to clear the air on this thoughts.

As much as I want to lay into him as well...let's move it to another thread.

JMO.

Iraq has everything to do with fighting terrorists. Just because we didn't find anything WMD's doesn't mean that it was pointless. I support our troops and I support what they are doing to protect the future for my son. I can't believe that very few looks at the real full picture and listen to all the liberal propaganda. No president in history has been perfect, where one lacks another is better but lacks somewhere else. Bush has made a few bad choices but it was based off bad intel. His staff has made him look incompetant. Look back at his gubernatorial career... He was one of the best in TX history and his debates and speaches were very great. Now his staff is making him look dumb... We need to look at other aspect before we blame our commander and cheif. This isn't a Dictatorship or a Monarchy, more than 1 person has to make the decision. Get educated then complain.

I agree with Dave88LX. Let's not ruin another thread that is full of potential, patriotism and thanks by entertaining the thoughts of one person. Though none of us agree with what he has to say it's his American right to express his thoughts. And whether we like it or not part of what serving in the military entails is protecting the rights of all American's and what the Constitution stands for. If you want to let him know what you think of his input please do it by PM and not publically. Those of us in the military, and have served for quite some time, have always been taught to praise in public and reprimand in private. I have always lived by that rule and think it's time the rest of us in here do the same. Let's not ruin this one too!

Jared

I'd also like to thank everyone who is serving, has served or is planning to serve. Their courage and sacrifice is appreciated by many.
