Single turbo, twins, whatever injectors.....just wondering how high someone has gone with a single CP3 on fuel only.

Project X Diesel
single Industrial Injection Silver Bullet 66, single stage II CP3 pump, Brady’s Project X special injectors 29 LPM . MaxSpool 2.5 cam, springs, pushrods. RayMac ported head , and ZZ side draft stainless manifold . Diablo Predator programmer, Dr Performance Project X special module.

847 HP fuel only best time fuel only 11.79 122 mph best MPH in land speed trials 154 mph .

947 hp single .125 NX progressive , best ET on one stage 11.39 @ 125.66 land speed 166 mph
2 stages .125 NX progressive hp ???? estimate 1100 hp ET 11.41 @ 129.88 traction limited pass all this at 6100 lbs .
237,000 miles short block on first head gasket, after installations of RayMac head with zero retorques.

Winner Hot Rod Drag Week quickest Diesel award 2006 , 2007
3 ECTA land Speed records

There has been many very impressive trucks with single cp3 (Modded). I have made 732hp with my truck. Early in our race truck program we made 817hp at May Madness one year. This was done on a Modded cp3. After that we installed our cp3.4 and that was a great step forward with hp. You are asking about stock and modded cp3's however. Thanks

I think greg is the highest I have heard of, Luken got really high on a stock cp3, I think around 650ish or so.

659hp, stock injectors/stock cp3.....a freak of nature is what it was

A buddy of mine has done over 700hp with water/meth and a stage 2.

i put down 583.6 and 1147 on the 14th of june with stock injectors and cp3 with whats in my sig

We are going to see where a single pump can go , I have installed the Industrial Injection silver 71 and the new MaxSpool 2.5+ along with the new header. I have been testing a new single solenoid NX progressive system that will flow more than any nitrous system on the planet at full song and as little as needed to give it a whiff on the line, ramping it as smoothly as you could ever want all the way to the top .

I believe that X with a single II CP3 will make over 1100 + and do it over and over. The secret is all in the tune; take it to the edge but no more.

Make it lean and mean, use ever last bit of fuel at the right time. The big injectors, mega fuel , high boost numbers trucks , with no attention to cylinder heads and cam profile , is one way of power . Big boost brings big drive pressures, but the results are lots of retained heat.

plan ahead
AIR FLOW ,
AIR FLOW , AND AIR FLOW

Greg-

Do you have any before and after boost / drive pressure readings when you did each airflow change (head work, manifold, etc) - all other fueling parameters (injectors, boxes, programmers) being equal? If so, can you please share? Were they big decreases in boost (restriction) or small, incremental decreases in boost?

-Thanks-

We started with Project X at a level that included the cylinder head and Cam. I didn’t feel it necessary to base line the truck. maybe I should have

I know that is a proven fact that airflow make for hp, I do have a hard drive full of Data Logged runs and anyone can down load the software from RPMPerf.com and I’ll send the data. Here are a few runs, most of these are land speed runs, and I’ll look for runs at drag week.

I did 695 with a stg3 and a IIs Silver 64, I here from Kansas they have a truck running Floor It stg 3 not sure of the charger as of yet, 825, to 850 but there is alot of bugs to be worked out, they trashed the G56 this weekend

Hmm wonder who's that might be. I have seen a couple over 750hp pass on a Stage 3 pump and single charger. I heard there is one that is running around that will break that no problem and MOhooker I think it is the same truck you are talking about.

Comp, have you ran the project x truck with the new turbo and header? I'm curious to see a data log of that run against the old setup. Sure can learn from a data log.... This must be a log of fuel only right? How about the logs with nitrous, Sure looks like there is power to be had with some giggle gas, wategating a bit more exaust. And with all that head flow....some RPMS
