Am I missing anything?

A person that says my time is not worth more than what you can buy something from JL Machine, isn't a concern of mine. Especially when I hear it second hand.

Go ahead. You act like making fun of my power handicap bothers me. I honestly don't give a darn. If a nobody like me said something that bothered you so bad then you might wanna reevaluate your position.
 
No need to reevaluate anything, I've offered you advice, yet you advise people in "your" chat room that my services are overjustified. You, never having dealt with me personally, and having no hands on experience with anything injector related. It doesn't bother me, I find it comical, but you rant on.
 
Yeah pretty good idea you dont listen to smokem, most of the stuff he talks about doing works well, I have read some of his info and some of the stuff that he has said is stuff I have done and worked the best. Hes just trying to help and and this is the reason I think he steped out for a minute. This is one of the few guys info that I would really trust.
 
Smokem does have good advice and his products obviously work well. But to come in to a chat room just to pick a fight and call me naive over me saying that I don't feel that his extra cost is worth the slight bit of power I might gain (or lose in some cases) is BS and immature IMO. If he can't handle that small bit of criticism then I don't want his advice or his products. I've said the same about don m's products and never heard a peep out of him. Go ahead and tell me I'm an idiot and a fool and whatever but as long as there are other companies that deal with p-pumps I will not listen to or buy smokems parts.

I'm curious, how do we explain the trucks making big power on JL injectors? Since they are such total crap...

Just trying to learn why since they only seem to suck in Tyler's truck.

I don't have a dog in this fight, I'm just trying to figure that out...
 
I will say one thing I have messed with alot of injectors in my truck and smokem told my brother I have the best injectors in it now,If you built a set they would be close to the same thing.I know other people that are running the same and simlar injectors and are making great power.
 
I've never said his injectors were crap. Never once. Just said that I don't feel they are worth the extra cost for the minimal gains/losses that come with them. Nothing more, nothing less.

I hear you are saying this from a couple other members in the chat room, on more than one occasion. I call you on it, and then you try and explain it to me how someone whom has never even disassembled an injector knows something I don't? I, never having worked in a bank, should call and tell my banker what maximum dollar amount of compensation to allow on IRA accounts. I'm sure he won't think I am an ignorant ass.
 
One needs to dbl check Jons work , they can make good power with a little massage there even better

And did I ever tell you what you should charge for your work? Nope. Have I ever called your injectors crappy? Nope. Have I ever called your work crappy? Nope. Just merely stating that the minimal gains/losses I'd get from paying for your time does not outweight the added cost. Plain and simple. It's what I've been stating this whole thread, in chat, and on that other thread. If you really have such a problem with this then I don't know what to tell you other than good luck in your endeavour on creating QUALITY parts.

Jon is a good guy, and I will not say he builds total crap. Sometimes quality control is an issue, but he has a large work load and is short on time. Like Rodney said, having them gone over will verify what is done, and what may help.

I've seen this firsthand here in Knoxville. Well known brand name. Junk.
 
You shouldn't have to MASSAGE your injector after you just BOUGHT the damn thing from a performance injector company
