this past sunday i finally got my truck hooked to the sled after a long year of building this truck. i was extremely pleased at how well it performed. i did a total of three pulls. the first pull i launched in 3rd and it broke the tires loose instantly and held 4000+rpm the whole way down...
well i was on my way to the track for some sled pulling and unfortunately i snapped the yoke on the diff and the 2 ujoints..the center ujoint and the back ujoint that joins to the diff. i was in 3rd gear bout 2200 rpm when i came across a set of rail way tracks. of course just before the tracks...
i have a 5000 kit in my pump... long story short the throttle is absolutely wayyy to touchy. either your on the throttle or off. theres no in between cause if i do try to hold the throttle and maintain my speed and i hit a lets just say a pepple on the road the truck starts jumping and jerking...
im having problems having the crank seal sealing in this billet cover. ive done it twice now using a regular cummins seal. next one i try will be a speedy sleeve seal, if this dont do it then im gnna say its a machining problem. does anybody run one of these billet covers and if so have you had...
