    compressor profile

    One of these days I am going to start cutting compressor and turbine housings. Does anyone have any low tech tricks for measuring the inducer to exducer curve on compressor and turbine wheels? it would be sweet if it was some type of equation but I doubt it's that easy.

    Flexplate install

    Getting ready to do a flex plate on my wife's 06. Last time I did one the flex plate locating tabs kept the new plate from sitting against the crank. I ended up putting on a used flexplate. Are the tabs meant to bend into final position as you tighten the bolts or did i have a bad plate?
