As much as I like the truck, I think it may be time to see if anyone else could use it to it’s full potential.
01 3500 c&c
Nv4500
2wd (might have a front axle somewhere but no trans/Tcase)
205k miles
10k on valair organic single disk, flywheel and fork
Tappet cover gasket is being changed right now (old one was cracked)
Flatbed with 10&12k winches, gin poles, rolling tailboard and ready for a winch up front.
Truck is solid, ugly but solid. P.O. just painted on top of the other flaking paint/primer with flat black rattle can.
Does wander a little bit, but the only thing that hasn’t been swapped is the steering box.
Intercooler was hit at some point and is bowed in, but it pressure tests good. I could get another one, but I was planning on waiting until it leaked.
Toolboxes need handles.
The gin pole setup works well, but it’s just really not used enough to justify it. I’ve set some poles and stuff, but nothing that I couldn’t do without it.
I would just like to see if there is anything more practical out there.
I’ve got my dad driving this right now, so I’d prefer to make an even trade for a dually MAYBE 3/4ton. Really, anything of value might get it.
