024 and 042 delivery valves

Are they the same thing, i know they are two different brands, but both claim more hp and less smoke than 191s?

024's from peak and 042's from DDP are supposed to be the same thing along with some other companies 024's. There more than one style of 024 dv though. Here's some reading:
