05 allison trans 6sp heat problems any body had any problems with heat issues? Pulling trailer or with mods ? My trans is having issues getting 250 and hotter slipping changed all the lines and put a cooler on it with a fan still no help had the trans rebuilt with stage 4 and new converter the trans works good for now BUT it is still getting VERY HOT!! :bang

If you have an '05 then it is a 5 speed in a pickup truck. First thing I would do is check to see if the converter is locking. Also test the line pressure, it should be 245 unlocked converter and about 150 locked converter. If you have real high pressure or the lock up valve mat be sticking or in wrong it will cause high temperatures.
