10.5 or 11.5 aam

How do I detemine which rear axle I have. My truck is a 305 hp '03. The axle tubes are 4'' not 3.5''.

Look in your GLOVE BOX and there should be a white stamped paper that has all that info. I know my darn Early 04 has a 10.5

x2 on the glove box... my '05 got the 11.5

The 305 was the HO motor, all HO's got the 11.5" rear. The SO and Low Emission models got the 10.5".
