I'm relatively new to diesel truck pulling and would like to know how often or how many hooks are made before ckecking bearings? Or should they be replaced every season. I used to do my gasser every 3rd season.

Cut your filter open every time you change oil and inspect the media for bearing material. Otherwise after every season I would recommend pulling caps.

Depends on what is considered a season?
I know guys who say "3 seasons" but only hook 3-5 times a year.

We also check after a season. (10 - 20 hooks, depending on the season)
