Well I'm trying to decide on what to do with my truck I found a 24v engine and I'm waiting on a shipping quote, but if for some reason he doesn't want to ship it I'm thinking doing a 12v swap.

What would it take to do a 12v swap in my truck? What all is involved it doing something like that? Would I need special parts? My 47re would bolt up right? What about wiring? Any input is appreciated.

Now this is just and IDEA guys. I would much rather get a whole 24v engine to put in there as it would be ALOT easier.

Some of the fittings are different and all. Friend put a 94 block in his 24V. It is possible, but of course he ppumped his, so I don't know about all of the other stuff.

call scheids they have all the adapters its pretty much like doing a p pump swap have to keep the computer or find a wiring harness and a instrument cluster out of a 98 12v truck which would probably be the easiest. tranny and everything else shoud work

Mods yall can delete this thread.
