I need some help with my dads 2002 7.3. We bought it a few months ago knowing it had a little problem. I was thinking it was injectors but worth the money to buy the truck. It was "skipping/cutting back at heavy throttle-higher RPMs. It finally got real bad and had no power and almost cut off on him. It did throw an IDM code at this time. We changed the UVCH and swapped in a different IDM. The truck still performed the same as in the beginning when we bought it. There are no codes now since I cleared it the first time. This week, he drove it and it had a small amount of white smoke when it the throttle a little. He parked it in the morning and when he came out at lunch it would not start. No codes, buzz test passes, glow plug light illuminates. I had him plug up the block heater just in case. ICP pressure is good when turning over. There is fuel in the fuel bowl. How many injectors would have to be bad for a no start?
