I just bought a 1994 3500 4x4. The transmission seems to shift relatively well but the torque converter isn't locking. It has been a long time since I drove a 12 valve with a stock automatic so I was seeing what y'all think might be the problem. Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of things to check first.
1.The trans temp sender. PCM must see a min temp or less than a max temp to allow OD or lock up. can replace with a 1kohm resistor.
2.The brake pedal switch needs to be operating and adjusted correctly.
To adjust, unplug switch, holding the pedal down pull plunger all of the way out and then push in 4 clicks. reconnect the switch and allow the pedal to come up then very lightly pull the pedal towards the rear. Fairly inexpensive if the switch is bad.
3.Throttle position sensor must be functioning correctly. can replace with a 5kohm potentiometer.
