48re Valve Body

So I have been out of the diesel game for a little while. The last transmission I built (47rh) the valve body was around $450 if I remember right. I have been looking on messing around with my 06 and I am seeing valve bodies go for $800. Is that just the going rate? My truck probably puts down around 500 and I was just looking for something a little better than stock.
