5600?

What year 5600 transmission is better than the other? I'm buyin a complete setup out of a wrecked 01 i'm not sure if that trans has the 1 3/8 input shaft just yet if i did that would make the choice easier but the guy i'm gettin from has a 05 5600 as well so i thought mite b better 2 get that one... What do u all think? THanks for any info r help.
 
Not as far as I know. Only the early 99-00 models had the small input shaft. I'm 95% sure.
