FYI, the undamaged 6.7 block and the 5.9 block are at the machine shop for cleaning and final verification to see what the bores look like and if they need bored.
I'll have a final word by mid-week.

Also, I now have 2 CP3 cores, both LIGHT burns needing FCAs, both do turn free.
1 is from a 6.7, the other is from a 5.9.

$65, each shipped.

I still have the good 6.7 crank, but it has now been machined to a nice, clean .010-.010, price is now $650.

I have a NICE 5.9 COMMONRAIL crank that has been cleaned and cut to .010-.010, price is $450.

I also have had the 2003 5.9 block cleaned and checked and it will remain at standard bore, price is now $500.

The better (unbroken) 6.7 block has been cleaned and honed and is boarder line at STD bore. For a puller, with more bore clearance, it'd probably be okay, but for a daily driver, best bore it .020, price will remain the same at $600.

I have no clearance information on any of these blocks.

I was told by the machinist that the 5.9 block would hold at standard bore.
Looking at it myself, there is no way in hell it is going to clean up with anything less than .020, hell, even .040 over.
The "good" 6.7 block is boarder line at standard, but I'd still punch it .020 as well.
The broken 6.7 block would run with a light hone, it's damned nice in the bores.

After this machinist's disaster of doing things without my consent, I'm about ready to pitch it all in the iron.
