6.7 head on 5.9?

I do not see any issues with this or am I missing something?

Found out the head off my 06 has several cracks on intake's and even 2 into coolant passages. Could be stamped and pinned but have access to a good 6.7 head and would rather not risk it on a 750+ hp motor.
 
Yep, no problem. I have it the other way (5.9 head/6.7 block) and no issues.

I believe the only difference is some steam ports (I'd guess something to do with cylinder heat and emissions?) in the 6.7. I failed to take pics
 
Thanks for the reassurance just was not sure about the extra ports.
 
I am totally new to the 6.7 world. Is there any benefit to putting a 6.7 head on a 5.9?
 
According do a company who did cnc porting for me the port design is identical. Other than steam holes I think they're the same.
 
I was planning on going all exhaust valves on the original 5.9 head and received a call today from the machine shop today asking why as after looking at the 6.7L head we dropped off had bigger exhaust valves and the Intake were the same size as the exhaust valve. Was anyone else aware of this? I had never once paid attention to the valves n the 6.7 head had just always assumed they were the same.
