I'm running a 6.7 with 5.9 electronics and fried a starter 5.9 one
Is anyone running the 6.7 starter? Is it a direct fit or do I have to put the 6.7 plug on the crank wire? Looks a lot easier to work on than the 5.9 PIA!
Also the 6.7 has stiffening brackets on the flywheel housing should I run those with a 6.7 flywheel housing? It has the holes the 5.9 housing doesn't.

A 6.7 starter will bolt on where a 5.9 starter is, just splice in the solenoid plug.
Since you mention the stiffening brackets, I assume you mean the 6.7 68RFE flywheel housing, which is slightly deeper than a 5.9 one, so no dice there.
I am sure you could do some wonky thing like shim the converter to make it work.

Mark.
