7.3 Rebuild

Looks like the rings are bad after the pressure test. Gonna pull it and put in new ones. I've never pulled one of these motors before so if any of you have and have some helpful advice that'd be great. Also lookin of extra things I should do to it while everything is apart. Thanks
 
Can't decide whether to look for a 5.9L 12v cummins and drop that in it or rebuild my 7.3L. What are the main differences I would see if i went with the cummins.
