Check out the difference when you get a ball bearing turbo charger. Makes sense why they spool so much faster. *nx*

That's comparing a turbo with a bearing to a turbo without a bearing.

That is comparing a turbo with ball bearings to a turbo with Journal bearings. They both have bearings, one is just far superior than the other.

Journal bearing isn't really a bearing, the oil is the bearing.

I did not know that. I have not studied turbos and their bearings enough to know how they work or what they look like. I just bought the Percision BB charger and wanted to share the difference. I see what you are saying about the oil now. Lol

I don't have anything against ball bearing turbos, I'd run them if I could bring myself to throw that kind of money at my pos. I just don't think that's a very fair test.

Have you run this turbo on the truck yet? Wondering how it spools?

I have ran this turbo for several months now and it spools very fast. I also did pump oil into each of the turbos and do the same test with very similar results.

How did you pump oil into the turbos to test it?
